After seeing this photograph on one of my favorite blogs, JAK & JIL, I was extremely inspired to post. I could not help but stare at this photo thinking "could this be new wearble pop art?".
This classical brown paper bag is transformed into the timeless quilted Chanel 2.55 purse, which holds many symbolic meanings.
The Chanel 2.55 purse is owned by everyone who serves a purpose to fashion and similarily enough I find that a brown paper bag serves many purposes. Not to mention, the economic/environmental debate.
Anyways, I found this quite interesting to be honest because it reminded me of several things. For instance, how Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein used recognizable symbols and made it their own.
Although I am not quite sure about whether or not i'd use it as a purse, however it is definitely an innovative idea that could possibly even start into a future trend?
